So I started off writing this blog with the intention of posting funny stories, yummy recipes and cool fashion spreads and whatever else fun and exciting I wanted to share with the world that day. But today something happened that only happens once in a very blue moon. Thomas, Christine, Mariam and I were in a car accident. Thomas lost control of the car and although he handled it with the skill of a race car driver, his car ended up in pretty bad shape, totaled in fact. The remarkable thing is that I'm sitting here writing this because every one of us came out of that car without a scratch. So many people go through exactly what we did and don't live to tell the story. If it wasn't for 3 metal wires in the middle of the road, chances are we would probably be dead. Moments like this give you so much perspective on life. Silly fights with my parents and friends, getting upset over a B on a test instead of a B+, and even getting your car totaled seems insignificant compared to what really matters in life. I think its befitting that this is Easter Sunday too, because God was definitely on our side today. I am so thankful for everything and very humbled by this experience. God Bless :)
